Mark J. Gifford passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 58. He was born on March 13, 1968 to Roland & Marlene (Bown) Gifford, and grew up in Christchurch, England. At age 21, he realized his dream of coming to America, eventually becoming a US citizen. He loved dogs, his fish tank, his job and co-workers with Verizon, Liverpool Football Club, Legos, Star Wars, James Bond, Billy Joel, Theme parks, video games and candy - especially chocolate.
He was extremely generous with his time, as well as money. If you needed a hand, Mark was there. A funny, easy going, friendly guy, that could easily strike up a conversation with anyone. Stacie says he was definitely "the better half" in the 31 years that they spent together. And he was so smart…
But if you really want to know Mark, you only need to look at his family. Everything he did, every thought, every choice he made, was for them. He leaves behind a family who miss him deeply and love him beyond measure.
He was preceded in death by his dear parents; his sister, Tracy; and his precious daughter, Natalie.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Stacie; three adoring daughters, Courtney Hardin (Denver), Addison Gifford, and Caroline Gifford; and, his beloved grandson, Jordan, and granddaughter, Lily, with whom he shared a birthday.
Please join us for a celebration of Mark’s life at 1pm on April 25, 2026 at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home in Clearwater, Florida, followed by inurnment at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
