Marlene "Mikki" Beverly Edelstein

It’s with both deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude that we share the passing of our Mom, Mikki Edelstein, on February 11, 2025. She fought a long and difficult battle with Ovarian Cancer in true “Mikki” style - with strength, courage, dignity, love, and concern for everyone else. Her days, near and past, have been filled with love and joy from so many of you. Her final moments were spent peacefully at Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas Park, surrounded by family and close friends.

Mikki will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, and not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her children Susan, Mark and Brian; her grandchildren Daniel, Naomi and Benjamin; her great-grandchildren Jerrett, Ella, Kendrick, Levi, Micah, Aaron and Mia; and, her “Sister” Lillian. Mom goes in peace to meet the love of her life for over 66 years, her husband, Alvin. We so appreciate all the memories and prayers you’ve shared with us in the past days and weeks.

A ceremony will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home in Clearwater, FL at 1:30pm on February 14, 2025. A graveside service will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Suncoast Hospice, Ovarian Cancer Research Associates, World Wildlife Fund, or Caring Committee Fund at Temple B’nai Israel in Clearwater, FL.
