

Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Betty Hiles. He is survived by his devoted wife of almost 53 years, Debra Hiles (married January 8, 1972), and their three cherished children: Tracy (Chris) Lynch, Captain Chris Hiles, and Shawn (Melissa) Hiles. He was the proud grandfather of Kelsie Lynch (Dustin), Madison Lynch (Garrett), Caden Lynch, Hadley (Matt) Hiles, Maggie Hiles, and Natalie Hiles. Martin is also survived by his sister, Jackie and Edward Bacon, brothers-in-law Kenny (Lou) Perry, Rusty Perry, Robert (Malyn) Greene, his uncle Walter Trier, his cousins Chris and Sabrina (and families), aunt Shirley (Mack) Fair (and family), uncle Cameron Perry (and families), step sister Kim (Mike) Stephenson, as well as many other cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Growing up in Dunedin, Martin graduated from Dunedin High School in 1970. He honorably served in the United States Air Force, was a lifetime VFW member and later became a dedicated business owner, operating his lawn and landscaping company. Martin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and many close friends. His unwavering love and care for his family, including his beloved fur babies, was evident to all who knew him.
