Mary Susan Dunlap “Sue” passed away March 11, 2015 at home. Her loving and ever-devoted husband was, as always, by her side. Sue is survived by her husband Joe Everett Dunlap. She had five children—Marlene Clayton, Todd Dunlap, David Dunlap, Sherrie Fritsch, and Dru Charos; eight grandchildren—Marla Clavette, Whitney Buchanan, Austin Buchanan, Alexander Charos, Phillip Charos, Jason Charos, Broderick West and Michael Dunlap. She also had six great grandchildren. Sue was a beautiful woman both inside and out. In her younger years she even did some work as a model and did some community theater. She had the good fortune to get a job at the dental school at Ohio State University where she met her husband, Joe, who was a student. After graduation and marriage they moved to Florida and made their life together. Sue worked in the home raising five children but also explored other occupations through the years. She did a short time in real estate, worked as an interior decorator, had her own business—Susie Q’s: The Lamp and Accessory Gallery, and even learned medical terminology and worked for a gastroenterology practice in Palm Harbor. Sue had an artistic side and learned to work with clay. She did many busts of family and other pieces. Her artistic side showed mostly in her beautiful home that she created and recreated over the years. Sue we will all miss you. You were an important force in our lives and we will remember you with love….always and forever.
