 Dear MaryBeth’s family, dear Ralph, so sorry for you loss. 
MaryBeth  was a beautiful person and we miss her a lot.
When we worked together it was a real partnership.

I’ve been thinking and thinking and decided how can you share a special memory when you have so many?
1st when Mary got her 1st new car from gram and great auntie in HH., IL. We put 100 miles on it the 1st nite!
2nd- driving to Clearwater cause her dad got transferred and they were moving   Poor Denise, Alice wouldn’t let her ride with us!
3rd- exploring the new streets and bars in Clearwater!!!
That was many years ago, but made a lot of memories.  
I will truly miss my friend of 50 years and when we meet again, I’m sure we’ll have a lot more to talk about.

Mary Beth and I shared a door - it was always open between our classrooms -  Art on her side and Home Economics on mine.  Mary Beth was always willing to share ideas about how best to  keep our middle schoolers involved in learning.  Her many approaches to life in art were truly inspiring.  I loved to visit with her and enjoy her many successes at school.  This was all a long time ago but I know from our chance meetings on beach walks that age never changed Marty Beth - still vibrant and a loving soul.  So she leaves us with favorite memories and a laugh and a smile to never forget.  I will not.  Fair well Mary Beth - friend.

My Dearest sister Mary,

Words can't express the loss I feel, but the wonderful memories of having you in my life will carry me the rest of my days.   We shared countless holidays, birthdays, graduations and trips together.   The birth of your son John,  and then my son Kyle, three years later, and the great times we shared together while raising them.  Those moments are priceless.   I will mostly miss all of the laughter and memories of our childhood.  Nobody will ever understand the past like you did.  Rest in peace my dear sister.  I saw a beautiful sunset last night, and I thought of you in heaven just waiting to capture that image.

Not only being friends but colleagues too had us involved in many activities at school.  The most memorable one was when we worked together in the production of Peter Pan!  What a challenge!  Without her expertise and enthusiasm, I'm not sure we would've made it.  The production turned out fantastic thanks to her.
Our friendship made it so easy to talk with each other about anything.   A true & unforgetable friend.  I miss you.

When Mary Beth and I took a plane to Italy, she had a seat next to the window.  The plane flew out into the night sky, and the stars came up. Mary gazed out the window, turned to me, her eyes shining, and said, " I  can see The Northern Lights and The Milky Way! I'll always remember the  thrill she felt and sense of exhilaration, as we started our adventure  together. 

MaryBeth was someone I looked up to even though we were the same age. She loved her job and was so good at it. I always thought it was interesting that she was certified in both art and science. She had such an eye for color and loved all the things I did too— family, friends, travel, laughing, her Volvo,  the beach, bike rides, photography, that gorgeous cat she used to have. I’m so sorry her life was cut short. I will miss her too. I was with her at the Outback once  when the woman next to us was choking  and MaryBeth sprang into action, performed the maneuver, saved her and was rewarded with a free dinner from the manager.
