Mavis Edna Lee went to be with the Lord, whom she loved dearly, on February 14, 2016. Born in Moultrie Georgia on May 18, 1923, she was a devout Christian all of her life. She was the widow of Darrell Daniel Lee, whom she married on December 24, 1939, who passed before her in 1962. She is survived by her six children, Linda Patricia Melville, Darrell Daniel Lee, Jr., Edwin Lavaughn Lee, Brenda Lee Dewar, Cynthia (Cindy) Lee Sturtz, and Thomas Lavern Lee; nine grandchildren, Rebecca Cleek, Teresa Cave, Debbie Schultz, Darrell D. Lee, III, Edwin Lavaughn Lee, Jr., Christina Thiebeault, Cate Donoghue, Colleen McDonald, and Nicole Eibe; and many precious great and great-great grandchildren. She was also survived by three sisters, Jean Robbins, Wilma Hearn and Janice Davis and a half-brother, Johnny Roland. She was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Clearwater; and former member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater, where she was employed until her retirement.
