Milan Lee

Milan was born March 16, 1993 in Clearwater, Florida, the cherished and beloved son of Drue and Mandy Lee. Milan graduated from Mitchell High School in 2011 and attended Florida Gulf Coast University and St. Petersburg College.

He had a passion for guitar, skillfully teaching himself to play. In addition to music, he enjoyed playing hockey, relished being outdoors, indulged in fishing and cooking, appreciated stand-up comedy and watching movies, shooting pool, and spending time with his family.

From early on, Milan developed a tender-hearted nature and he was known to be a true friend to his friends. He was notorious for his antics to lift their spirits and put a smile on their face, or to simply sit and quietly listen, shouldering their burdens. Although only 30 at the time of his death, his love for God, family, and friends affected all those who knew him.

Milan was son and best friend to his parents, Drue and Mandy Lee; and is survived by his paternal grandparents, Gerry and Linda Lee; maternal grandparents, Butch and Paula Holmes and several aunts & uncles and cousins in both Indiana and Florida.

Memorial services will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road Clearwater, Florida 33759. Viewing will begin at 1:00pm on Friday February 2nd followed by a service at 2:00pm.

Milan’s family wishes to acknowledge the overwhelming outpouring of support and love. Additionally, we appreciate the hundreds of stories that have been shared with us exemplifying Milan’s life and heart. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to pay their respects and honor Milan, take time to open their hearts and show others the Godly love Milan always demonstrated.
