Myrna was born in Little Rock, South Carolina to Daniel A. Williamson and Emma Lee Bennet on August 7, 1935. She was the youngest of 6 children.
She attended North Carolina Baptist Hospital's Registered Nurse program in the 50's and went on to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from USF - Tampa in the 1990's. Myrna had many accomplishments throughout her nursing career which spanned 47 years. She was well known and respected by her colleagues at Morton Plant Hospital.
Myrna was a beloved Grandmother, Mother, Aunt, Godmother and friend to all. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry R. Duckworth Sr, her parents,and all of her siblings. She is survived by her son Harry R. Duckworth Jr, Susan Gutierrez and husband Paulo "Guicho" Gutierrez, her cherished grandchildren Zachary and Alyssa as well as many nieces, nephews and other family.
A Graveside Service will be held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL 33759, on October 19, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
