Nancy Webster Blanton

Mrs. Nancy W Blanton, born on July 21, 1942, in Farmville, Virginia, passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 83. A resident of Clearwater, Florida, Nancy was a dedicated school teacher specializing in mathematics. She earned a bachelor's degree in education and devoted her life to teaching.

Nancy married Joseph, the love of her life, and together they raised a family that grew to include grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Nancy and Joseph shared a passion for travel, exploring various continents and countries, which enriched their lives with countless memories and experiences.

A lover of music, Nancy enjoyed attending rock and roll concerts, performances by The Florida Orchestra, and shows by Johnny Cash. She appreciated the finer things in life, such as gourmet food and wine, and was an avid reader, having read thousands of books. Despite spending much of her adult life in Florida, Nancy proudly considered herself a tough Virginia blue blood.

The visitation will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, located at 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759, on December 12, 2025, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by a memorial service from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Urn placement will occur at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
