Nancy Ann Makrianes

August 7, 1934 - July 4, 2024

Nancy Ann Makrianes entered her eternal home peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Aspire of Countryside. Born August 7, 1934, in Springfield, MA , she was the daughter of George and Dorothy Good. Nancy graduated from The MacDuffie School, an all-girls private school, and while raising her boys she enjoyed her work in the Learning Support Center at St. Petersburg College, Clearwater Campus, retiring after 18 years, where she made significant contributions. Nancy found joy in reading and playing tennis, and she especially cherished spending time with her family. Her three boys , grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest accomplishments, and they all adored her as the matriarch of the Makrianes family. She is survived by her sons, Peter A. Makrianes, Jr. (Mary Beth) of Clearwater, FL; Donald Makrianes (Pamela) of Tampa, FL; and David Makrianes (Melanie) of Tampa, FL; as well as seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 52 years, Peter A. Makrianes, Sr.

A private celebration of life will be held on July 25, 2024.
