Born on February 24, 1935, in Braddock, Pennsylvania, Don was the beloved son of Nicholas Hulick and Ella A. (Bacha) Hulick. On February 14, 1954, he married the love of his life, Katherine "Kitty" (Ralph) Hulick, beginning a marriage rooted in faith, love, and devotion.
Don worked as a glass cutter for Behrenberg Glass in Delmont, Pennsylvania, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. More than anything, however, he cherished his family and lived a life grounded in his Christian faith. He poured his life into serving and loving others as Jesus loved him, leaving a lasting example of kindness, compassion, and selfless devotion.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Keri Johnston and her husband, Randy Johnston; his grandsons, Kurtis Johnston and his wife, Jordan Johnston, and Connor Johnston; and his treasured great-granddaughters, Emmy, Lavyne, and Winnie Johnston.
Don's legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A funeral service celebrating Don's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Countryside Christian Church.
