Her surviving sibling Mr. Leon (Tedsy) Waddell.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Teaching them was her favorite pastime. The little things that would help mold them into the people they became as adults. She was always there to support family and loved us all unconditionally. She was a woman of deep faith and it showed through the many aspects of her personality.
She started her career late in life when she migrated to the USA from Guyana in the 80’s. She always wanted to become a nurse, so she followed her passion and became a nurse’s aide at the New York Armenia Home of The Aged. Her job filled her heart with so much joy and peace especially when she saw the smiles on the faces of the people, she took care of. She still volunteered long after retirement and continued to help the elderly. She was a beautiful soul and showed us all how to be more compassionate, kind and loving.
