Born November 23, 1937, in Buffalo, New York to the late John and Geraldine Griffin.
Bunny graduated from Buffalo State where she earned her Bachelor's in Education.
She worked as a Third Grade Elementary School Teacher prior to marrying her husband Stanley J. Wojdan on July 9, 1960 (Deceased January 13th, 1998).
Bunny was a devoted housewife who raised three sons, Timothy Wojdan (Barbara), Patrick Wojdan (deceased 2024), Terence Wojdan (Jennifer).
Bunny had wonderful memories of spending summers with her parents, brothers, and friends at Alleghany State Park in southwestern NY. She and Stan continued that tradition with their sons and several nieces and nephews, who now have their own wonderful memories and great stories to tell of time spent at Alleghany.
Bunny loved to cook and was wonderful at it. She rarely made anything in a small amount. There were many family favorites with her beef on Weck sandwiches, prime rib dinner, and sour cream cheesecake being among the most enjoyed. There are many family members and friends who have fond memories of the incredible Christmas Eve parties that Bunny and Stan had for many years. Bunny prepared all the food herself, some years for up to 75 guests.
Bunny had a passion for home renovation and wallpapering. No wall was safe. One day, her sons came home from school to find a new pass through in the wall between the kitchen and dining room. No one knew that was going to happen, including Stan, and Bunny did all the work herself. It probably could be said that putting up wallpaper was one of Bunny’s hobbies. And she truly loved shopping for furniture.
Bunny was an avid bowler, starting as a young girl and playing throughout most of her life. She was still using a 15-pound ball when she retired from the game in her late 70s.
But most of all, Bunny loved caring for her family and being with them.
Bunny was also predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law John (Jack) and Janet Griffin.
Along with her sons Timothy (Barbara) and Terence (Jennifer), Bunny is survived by her grandsons Michael Wojdan (Kate) and their children Emma, Alex, Ava and Audrey; Zackery Wojdan (Alice) and their son Chayton; and Sean Wojdan, brother and sister-in-law Michael and Patricia Griffin; sister-in-law Charlotte Wojdan; brother & sister-in-law Daniel and Geraldine Wojdan, nieces Kathy Robinson, Suzanne Kruszona, Charlene Carson (David), Kelly Griffin (Tom) and Jacqueline Waskow, and nephews John Wojdan (Lynda), John Griffin (Stephanie), Joseph Griffin (Merideth) and James Griffin.
She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Bunny will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM, Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road , Clearwater, Florida 33759. Interment will follow in the cemetery gardens.
