O. Wayne Henderson, 90, of Clearwater, FL passed away August 25, 2010. He was a retired Lt. Col. in the US Army Corp of Engineers with service in WWII and Korea. He organized the first JROTC unit at Hobart (Indiana) High School (first girls accredited). He was Past President of Island Estates Civic Assoc., Sertoma Club, Military Officers of World Wars and Military Officers Assoc. of America and he was a member of the American Legion and Elks club. He is survived by his wife, Irene of 40 years; a son Neil (Glenda); a daughter, Karen and 3 grandchildren. Graveside service with military honors will be Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, 10:00AM at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Moss Feaster Funeral Home, Clearwater, FL.
