In Loving Memory
Patricia Mae Smith Born May 30th, 1936 Died December 6th, 2020
Pat was predeceased by her husband Marcus Smith, her parents Peter and Charlotte Colyn (McCarthy), her step mother Rose Colyn, her brother Peter Colyn, and her sister Charlotte Astin. She is survived by her half sister Kim DaSilva, her children Susan Bailey and Steven Bailey, and her grandchildren Stephen and Laurel.
Originally from Worcester, MA, Pat was a longtime resident of Pinellas County, Florida. As a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, Pat could always be counted on. She encountered many challenges throughout her life. Yet she faced them with fortitude, always with a smile on her face, and without disparaging anyone.
She was a sweet person with the determination to remain a friend of Bill W's for more than 44 years.
Pat adored her grandchildren and is loved by many. She will be remembered and will be missed.
There will be an outdoor service at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater on January 16th at 1 pm. Immediately thereafter will be a spreading of ashes in the memory garden at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Dunedin.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

To Pat's Family,
We are sorry for your loss. Pat was friends with our Mom- Patricia G Campbell, and together we are sending your family our sincerest sympathy. Pat & Pat met and became good friends and traveled together - nice trip to Hawaii, and other fun places too. They also spent time visiting each other between Rhode Island & Florida.
Please know we are thinking of you all and fond memories of great friends. Beth Campbell Rivet, Gail Campbell Szafir, & Patricia G. Campbell

I was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dunedin, Florida for many decades before retirement and later moving out-of-state in August of 2008. Good Shepherd was also Patricia's church. I remember her well from years long past, and I was sorry to hear about her decline over the years. I remember Pat with affection - may she rest in peace.
