Pat has one of the warmest hearts I’ve ever known, so sorry to know of her passing. We pray for your strength in all steps forward.

Dearest Wachtler’s, so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother.  Wishing all comfort prayers for your strength at this time and in the future, and prayer for her afterlife.

As I think of her, and in how she welcomed me and treated me as one of her own, I think of her unconditional love and kindness….. Pat is one of the kindest humans I’ve ever known. Pat was also very bright, a great listener, and great mother.

Forty two years ago Pat Watchler became the 4th employee of a fledgling new mortgage company called Midland Mortgage Investment Corporation.  She was hired as a secretary and over the years worked her way up to Senior Vice President in charge of what had become one of the biggest and most important departments in an organization that had grown to approximately 140 employees.

Pat was unbelievably efficient as well as also being an OUTSTANDING person.  She was respected not only for her work but also for her leadership, sincerity, loyalty and for just being as quality a human being as one could ever become!  I, as well as everyone that has ever come in contact with her, have very fond memories of Pat.

The world was a much better place with people like Pat in it, and a a lesser place now that she is gone!

Grandma
I will miss you greatly you were more than my grandma you were my best friend I could tell you anything and you always would listen. Thank you for believing in me when no one else did you always saw the good in everyone. You are such a big part of my childhood and I will carry those memories forever. Thank you for being such a great grandma and such a great mimi to my kids. I will take you with me in my heart and never forget you.

What a wonderful person Pat was! She was a great mentor and was always willing to teach her skills and processes with those that were interested.  I remember her sitting with me on many occasions to show me closing processes when I first joined Midland and was so, so green about the commercial real estate industry. Her gentle ways will always be in my fond memories of her. What a wonderful legacy she left for us.
My sincere condolences to the family. I hope that your memories of her will sustain you through your sorrows.

I first met Pat in the early ‘70s when she came in to interview at what was then James T. Barnes Mortgage Company.  Eventually it was called Midland Mortgage Investment Corporation.  Pat immediately showed her capabilities and became a well respected member of upper management.  We worked together for around 25 years before she retired. I eventually retired myself and we lost touch. Through a mutual friend, we re-connected and we had lunch together earlier this year. I enjoyed our lunch so much!  We had such a wonderful time talking about our time at Midland!  I will miss her greatly. She was such a wonderful woman, friend and co-worker.
