When my son married Amy Hodges, I was so happy she agreed to be his wife. Then I met her dad, Paul, and by getting to know him I realized that I had both a new daughter, Amy, and also a new friend, Paul. I immediately liked Paul because I saw him to be a man who was kind, enjoyable to talk with and who had a quiet and very funny sense of humor. I saw these same qualities in Amy, so I know Paul was a contributor to those traits. The loss of Paul is painful. I miss him. I hope that Amy and all who came to know Paul will be comforted by the memories of the good times spent with him.

I have both fond and fun memories of seeing Mr. Paul when he was visiting his daughter Kim in Havre De Grace, MD. His smile, laugh and ability to talk about anything at all will be greatly missed. The pride that was openly displayed whenever he spoke about his daughters and granddaughters will be a memory I will always hold close.
Our sincere condolences.
