

STARR, Margaret Lee “Peggy”, 60, of Clearwater, FL passed away on Jan. 17, 2015. Preceded in death by her father, Richard E. Starr and mother, Ruth E. Starr. Survived by her brother, John C (Jack) Starr of Clearwater, FL, sister, Carole Stone of Melbourne, FL and nephews Ryan R. Legere of Odessa, FL and Kyle D. Starr of Dunedin FL. Peggy was a long term employee of Operation PAR, Inc. as a Counselor and after obtaining her BA, CAP Degree she was promoted to her recent position as a Care Coordinator in the Case Management Division. She was an inaugural alumni of the Jack Eckerd Foundation Camp E-Nini-Hassee Program which inspired her to select her career in Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling. During her career she worked with the residents of the Upper Skagit Indian Reservation in Washington State for 10 years and gained much of her expertise in drug and alcohol counseling. She has helped many individuals and families over the years. She was an avid dog lover and loved to watch sports, especially the Florida Gators Football. She also enjoyed fishing, hiking and bowling. Memorial Services will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
