Pete you were such a great man!! You will always be someone I look up to. From your big heart to your enchanting smile , you showed me there are still good people out there. I will hold close to my heart the memories of the trips to Disney for your birthday, dinners at cool new restaurants, laughing and joking,  our conversations about life, and most sacred...your last days. I wish that you could still be here, it’s not the same without you.  You truly were an angel on earth. I know you are in heaven with your Mom and other loved ones. You are missed so much and will never be forgotten! You were family Pete, Pete the Elite, I Love you so very much !!

I think you would have been pleased today.  Many kind things were said,  many laughs were had and only a few tears were shed. Your generosity,  kind heart and your ability to bring people together were attributes echoed by all.I wish your story had a different ending. Thanks for being you. 

Pete, you have been my best friend since middle school and you will so dearly be missed. I cannot count in my head some of the greatest adventures we have had together. We have alluded the police, fought to defend girls, and shared memories that novels could and should be written about. I so very much will miss your friendship and your willingness to help me whenever I needed it. Rest in peace my friend and I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.  

I will miss you Pete! Big war, little war, Atari, king of the muck, smear the q, whiffle ball, you name it. You took me to my first concert and I will be forever grateful. FYI! You were my first crush! You will always be in my heart!

Rest in peace my friend set up one more game of little war you have your choice of sides. No double marble hits....ah the times we had.

RIP my friend of 40 years, until we meet again at the center of the universe!

I first met Pete, with Mike Callahan, in March 2000, playing mini golf, with Tim Williams. Later, Pete & Mike took on the go kart track, where Pete was awarded ‘most gentlemanly driver’. We became fast friends, despite the distance.
Between Florida, NY, and New England, we saw Pete as often as we could....just wish it could have been more...wish there was one more day...
