
Philip grew up in Gloucester, Massachusetts, where he attended Central Grammar Middle School. After beginning his career in the Merchant Marines, he eventually made his way to Florida, where he would spend the remainder of his life. Philip dedicated 37 years to the Merchant Marine, a career that took him to many places and became an important part of his life.
Those who knew Philip will remember him as a kind and gentle soul with a strong and unwavering faith. He attended church regularly and found comfort and strength in his faith throughout his life. Beyond his work and faith, Philip found joy in the simple things; cooking a good meal, playing cards, taking walks, and, most importantly, spending time with his friends and the people he loved.
Philip had a warm heart and a genuine appreciation for those around him. His kindness, faith, and quiet presence left an impression on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the goodness he shared with others.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Grace Scola Parisi, and his sister, Pearl Parisi.
He is survived by his sister, Rose Orlando and her husband, James; his brother, Joseph Parisi and his wife, Marie; niece Alicia Parisi; nephew Salvatore Parisi; niece Jennifer Maniaci and her husband, Franco; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gianna, Justace, Joseph, Claudia, and Adrian.
Philip will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest peacefully in the comfort of his faith and in the loving memories he leaves behind.
