With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Priscilla Aymong Diliberto, who passed away in her home on June 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Priscilla was born in Bay Shore, New York, and was raised in Sayville, where she graduated from Sayville High School in June 1976. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree and became a Registered Nurse after graduating from Suffolk County Community College in Selden, New York, in 1978. In November of that same year, she moved to Largo, Florida, beginning what would become a remarkable career dedicated to caring for others. She started as a registered nurse at Largo Medical Center while continuing her education at the University of South Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her passion for excellence led her to become a CCRN-certified critical care nurse and an active member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) and the American Heart Association. Priscilla’s career was defined not only by her intelligence and dedication, but by her unwavering compassion. She helped develop the cardiac home care program at Gentiva Home Health before serving as Practice Manager at Cardiothoracic Surgical Associates. Never one to stop learning, she earned a specialty degree in medical billing and coding and became a highly respected private medical coding consultant, sharing her expertise until her retirement. Throughout her career, she mentored countless nurses and healthcare professionals, always leading with patience, kindness, and integrity. While her professional accomplishments were many, they were never what defined her most. Priscilla’s greatest joy and proudest achievement was her family. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved with her whole heart, celebrated every milestone, and never missed an opportunity to make the people she loved feel special. Her home was a place of laughter, warmth, and unconditional love. She had an unforgettable personality. She was vibrant, funny, quick-witted, and effortlessly made friends wherever she went. She loved to socialize and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She enjoyed running, tending to her garden, crocheting beautiful gifts for those she loved, reading, and staying informed about current events. She embraced life fully and found joy in both the simple and extraordinary moments. Priscilla was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Francis Diliberto, M.D., and her loving parents, George and Dolores Aymong. She leaves behind a family who adored her beyond words—her beloved children and
grandchildren, Justine Rindosh Weiser and husband Todd, Taytem Rindosh Diliberto, Rhianna Rouillard and husband Jared, Abram Rouillard, Eivan Rouillard and Amaya Rouillard, Matthew Diliberto and wife MacKenna. Priscilla’s siblings include sisters Lydia Kolb and husband Jesse, Allison Brady, and Claudia Adamczyk and husband Kenny, her brother Gregory Aymong and wife Lisa, many nieces and nephews, dear friends, and the many lives she touched throughout her nursing career and beyond. Those who knew Priscilla will remember her beautiful smile, contagious laughter, generous spirit, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved. Her greatest wish was always that her family remain close, support one another, and cherish the bond they shared. That love will remain her enduring legacy. Though our hearts are shattered, we are endlessly grateful for the years we were blessed to have her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
