He was 2nd born of four siblings in Homestead, Pennsylvania on August 25, 1937 to the late Madeline (Costello) & Ralph V. Halt.
Ralph grew up playing baseball, known as “The Gremlin” in the early days. He maintained his love for the Cleveland Indians, though he took the Tampa Bay Rays into his heart as well. Ralph was a lover of all sports, following Ohio State Football, and becoming a skilled, passionate golfer.

Ralph met his beloved wife, Geraldine “Geri” (Hall) Halt, at a tailgate party they both attended for the Bucs. They lived a wonderful life together, enjoying their grandchildren, great grandchildren and the Florida sun.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine; children, Wayne Halt, Shirley Halt, Mary & Jeff Stringer, Christopher Shortt and Gwen & Mark Gibson; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kyle, Amber, Jacob, Gabriel, James and Joshua; great grandchildren, Hayden, Mason, Camden and Karlee; and brother, Donald Halt and his wife Karen Halt.
