Randall B. Walchli, 89, of Ruskin, FL. passed away at LifePath Hospice on Oct 17, 2019. Randall was born August, 25, 1930 in Warren, PA and grew up in the near by town of Clarendon. His family raised him in Christian faith and he remained a life long member of the United Methodist Church. He attended Warren High School where he played clarinet in the band and developed a love of music. Randall was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many outdoor activities, such as hunting and camping. He graduated from Parks College of Engineering Aviation and Technology at St. Louis University. Here is where he also learned how to fly in a Boeing Stearman PT17 bi-plane, a love he never lost. After graduating, Randall enlisted in the United States Navy and achieved the rank of Petty Officer First Class during the Korean War. It was during this time that he met and married the love of his life of 58 years, Lucille Mae Sameulson Walchli. Working for commercial airlines he held numerous positions in the passenger service and ground operations area of three major airlines. Randall moved his wife and seven children to Tampa, Florida. There he continued to teach and instill in his children the same love for God, the outdoors and music that he and his wife, Lucille, enjoyed. Randall was preceded in death by his mother (Zada E Brands Walchli), father (Hans W Walchli), sister (Elizabeth Walchli), brother (Raymond W Walchli), and his wife (Lucille M Samuelson Walchli).
