Richard Lee Robinson Jr., 60, of Clearwater, Florida passed away April 29, 2026. Richard was born at St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Petersburg, FL on January 19, 1966 to Richard Lee and Bonnie (Thompson) Robinson. He was a graduate of West Marshall High School class of 1984. After attending classes at Buena Vista College, Storm Lake, IA he told of fond memories of his time as manager at Lincoln Valley Golf Course, State Center, IA. Rich enjoyed being a DJ at the Pyramid Club in Marshalltown. He also worked at Donnelly Marketing in Nevada, IA. Rich was proud of his role in Quality Control at Goodrich Corporation, West Des Moines, IA. He spent the remainder of his years in Florida.
Rich's interests included History and Sports and he was passionate about both. A Florida neighbor once remarked that 'Rich was a walking encyclopedia.
Rich was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Rich is survived by his mother, Bonnie Larson; his brother, Lance Robinson; and his nephew, Parker Robinson; uncles and cousins; and extended family members. Arrangements are pending.
