Robert F. Dyer Jr., age 78, of Plant City passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Born August 24, 1944 in Pinson, Alabama; he was the son of the late Robert Franklin and Marie Hensel Dyer. Robert served 30 years in the US Army as well as a Community Service Officer for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Dept. He is predeceased by his loving wife Sarah Lou (Wilcox) Dyer who passed December of 2015. Robert is survived by two sons; William David Dyer and John Robert Dyer, two grandchildren Jordan Keely and Brady Kyle Dyer, brother Billy Joe (Linda) Dyer and his sister Ann Marie (Rick) Dyer.
A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 9854 - Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. Following the visitation will be a military honors from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759.
