Rosemary Ann Ventura, age 95, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 21, 1927 to Victor McCollum and Rosalia Mertes McCollum. She is survived by her daughters; Cindy (Brady) Surrena and Joanne (Rick) Hite, granddaughter; Susan (Don) Wright, great granddaughter; Emily Jackson. She is preceded in death by her husband; John, daughter; Linda, and siblings; Victor, Ed, Eileen, Jack, Betty and Nancy.
Rosemary loved playing games on her ipad and staying up to date with her family via text. She would share pictures, emojis, and videos that made her giggle. In her earlier days, Rosemary was an avid walker, getting her exercise in. She was a kind and generous person, even volunteering at Mease Countryside Hospital for years. Rosemary enjoyed bowling and golf in her free time as well.
