Sarah graduated from Countryside High School in 2025 and went on to fully embrace her role as kennel manager with Showtime Bullies, the family business and a calling she shared deeply with her dad, Russ. Sarah was a daddy’s girl through and through- truly, a mini Russ. Their shared work and love for the animals they cared for were a special bond that reflected the kind of person Sarah was- devoted, capable, and full of heart.
Sarah was a “doer”. She was fiercely independent, self-sufficient, and always ready to learn, create, help, or take on whatever was in front of her. She loved woodworking and used her talents in carpentry to make thoughtful, useful gifts for her family. She also loved spending time at the beach, where she could relax, enjoy the beauty around her, and simply be herself. She had a remarkable ability to turn her interests into something meaningful for the people and animals around her.
Animals were one of Sarah’s greatest loves. She had an extraordinary knowledge and understanding of them, earning her the title of the family’s “animal expert.” Her compassion extended to every creature she encountered. She rescued and adopted an opossum, cared for ducks, brought chickens home, loved her pets deeply, and even created a butterfly garden in her yard. Sarah saw value and beauty in every living thing.
Those who knew Sarah will remember her as wise beyond her years, naturally beautiful, loving, and remarkably capable. She brought value to the world simply by being herself. She treasured time with her family and friends and cherished her sisters and brothers. She had a way of making herself useful, making others feel cared for, and leaving things- and people- better than she found them.
Sarah is survived by her father and stepmother, Russell and Julie Birch, and her mother, Tracey Birch; her siblings, Kirby and Justin Williams, James, Kathryn, William, and Charlotte; her beloved nephew, Wesley Williams; and Ms. Aimee McDermott, her lifelong mentor, protector, and friend.
Sarah’s life was far too short, but the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will remain forever. She will be missed beyond words and loved always by all who knew her.
A celebration of Sarah’s life will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home.
Family and friends are invited to come together to remember Sarah, celebrate her life, and honor the beautiful, capable, compassionate person she was.
