

Sandusky, Scott Alan, of Clearwater, Fl died April 8, 2016. Scott was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a USCG certified Captain. He was survived by the love of his life and his first mate, Shannon Sandusky and their Salty Dog; Loving mother, Erlene; Daughters Sara and Abby; Step-children Amanda, Daniel, Joshua, and Brandy; Grand-daughters Aubrey and Makayla; Siblings Mike, Greg, Tracy, and Lisa. He was preceded in death by his father Charles. Scott was born in Ohio, but raised in Atlanta, Georgia alongside his brothers and sisters. He was the son of a retired Army Paratrooper and a self-proclaimed “Mama’s Boy”. He attended and graduated from Chamblee High School, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University. Family was everything to Scott, he loved being a father and was constantly bragging about his children and their accomplishments. Scott loved spending time with his soulmate and first mate, Shannon, particularly on the water. He embodied the “Salt Life”, and rarely missed an opportunity to be in his two favorite places at once; on the water and behind the camera. Scott was a fiercely loyal friend with a compassionate heart. He was an incredible listener a constant source of advice and stability, a lover of music, and a joker. Scott could talk to anybody anywhere, he never met a stranger. He loved his family, he loved people, and he loved his life. Scott always said “I’m just a crusty, salty old man”.
