May 11, 1966 – July 14, 2026
At 5:08 a.m. on July 14, 2026, Shannon Jerome Wilkinson passed away after a long battle with multiple medical conditions. He was 60 years old.
He is survived by his children Nichole, Amanda, Brandon and Hunter. As well as Hunters mother and Shannon's wife Diane Wilkinson. His grandchildren Mia, Colter, Lilly and Olivia and his sister Shay. He has been reunited with his mother Colleen, his two brothers Sonny and Gray and his grandchild Reece.
Shannon was born on May 11, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan but lived most of his life in or around Tampa, Florida. He joined the army reserves after highschool and then worked his way from a dishwasher to a general manager.
He loved sports, kayaking down the springs, his garden and all his gnomes. He was hard working and fun loving. Funny and so generous. The type of person to take the shirt off his back and give it to you if needed it.
Shannon was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend whose life touched so many. More than anything, he loved his children and cherished every moment he could spend with his family. His love for his family was evident in everything he did. His contagious laugh could brighten any room, and his larger-than-life personality made him impossible to forget.
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, there is comfort in knowing that his pain and suffering have come to an end.
His laughter, his unwavering love for his family, and the countless memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
There will be a celebration of life on August 22nd starting @2pm. It will be at 9633 Elgin Blvd, Springhill, FL 34606
There will be some light foods to snack on while chatting and remembering this amazing man!
