The world lost a special lady when Shirley left us. Such a fun loving lady . Her intelligence, empathy,  beauty  and class sparkled everywhere she ventured. We are so thankful she come into our lives, if only for a short while. 

My deepest sympathies to John, Susan, Danny and Mary Kay.  Your mother was awesome and heaven is going to be glad to have her up there with them.  I have so many wonderful memories of my dear friend and all you children as well.  Her laugh, joy for life and her devotion to her faith were her calling cards and she left that card wherever she went.  She was loving and caring to her friends as well as her family.  She made my life better and I am ever grateful to have had her friendship for these past 50 years.
To you children, she was blessed to have you and thank you for taking such good care of her.  My love to each of you.

Your mom was one of the greatest women I will ever know in my lifetime. To treating me like a daughter when I was young- scrumptious home cooked meals and snickerdoodles......and always interested in whatever was going on as I grew older, forever embracing me with her loving heart. God no doubt is thrilled to have her in His company.

My hero ,my mother,my best friend,my confidant,my rock.I was the luckiest person ever to have my mom...

How very sad we are to lose this dear friend of almost fifty years.  Our friendship dates back to the Morristown days of tennis and bridge and dinner parties at home.  Mike and Al were NYC commuters and Shirley and I would be at the train to pick them up.  We send our deepest sympathy to Susan and Danny, John and Mary Kay.  We loved your mom.
