Sotiraq was known for his entrepreneurship in Albania; and, in the US he was known as "Rocky" while working various jobs for Pinellas County School Board. He retired from Kash N Karry as a Produce Department Team Member.
In his free time, Sotiraq’s hobbies were gardening, and planting new trees such as lemon trees, papaya trees, apple trees and grape vines in the backyard. There was never a time you came over to the house and were not fed. He always said, “No one ever comes to our home hungry and leaves hungry, and if they are not hungry, we still feed them”.
He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Stefan and Erifili Ferro.
He is survived by his Wife, Neziana Ferro, his Son, Dr. Stefan Ferro PharmD, and his Sisters, Drita Hajdini, Margarita Ferro, Valentina Ferro, Elizebeta Koka, and Marijana Xanfi.
