Steve Larson is survived by his loving family: wife Sandra; daughters Jennifer (Jeff), Sheryl and Debra; grandkids William, Christopher, Brett, Kelly and baby-on-the-way; siblings Jon (Cindy), Cynthia (Joe) and Jeffrey (Doris). He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Shirley and brother Allen. Steve retired at age 52 as a powerhouse dispatcher at Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago. He was a former Radio Operator for the U.S. Navy and worked for the C.I.A. during the 1960s. He was an avid boater and motorcycle enthusiast. He spent Summers camping and boating with his family and in retirement enjoyed his daily trips to Starbucks to commiserate with friends and baristas. Steve had a knack for being able to fix anything: cars, electrical, plumbing and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He was fortunate to enjoy a long, happy retirement surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be held in February 2017.
