Susan M. Eatwell of Dunedin, FL, passed away peacefully at the age of 56 on June 22, 2019, with family and friends at her side. She was born on June 23, 1962 in Swindon, England. It was in this Wiltshire town that she developed the first of many lifelong friends at the age of five, and subsequently where she met her soulmate, David Eatwell, when both were young teenagers. Sue and Dave were married in 1981 and together they had three beautiful children: Matthew, Victoria, and Timothy.
The Eatwell family later relocated to Montgomery, NJ, where Sue led the charge to settle the family into their newest nest as she supported them through this big move. Sue helped the family integrate into their new community by co-chairing the high school PTA, among many other things, and changed the lives of those she met along the way.
The following chapter of Sue’s life ultimately brought her to sunny Florida. She savored her time spent dancing with her new Jazzercise friends and delighted as her family grew with the addition of Bailey, the new pup. In Dunedin, Sue orchestrated the design and build of their “forever home”, where her “chicks would return to the nest” and friends would feel at home. Her attention to details in every aspect of the home leaves behind a place to celebrate her memory for years to come.
Sue was particularly known for her generosity, compassion, and how proud she was of her family. She was a beautiful, loving person and is summed up as being a “big personality in a small package”. A designer at heart, Sue enjoyed decorating and making beautiful homes to ensure that her family and friends would never be far.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Dave, her children and their partners, her new granddaughter, and the many friends who consider her family. The impact she had on so many will always live on.
