Susan Reitmeyer

Born on April 2, 1956, in Trenton, New Jersey, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Charles H. Pippitt Sr. and Margaret (Fritz) Pippitt.

Susan dedicated her career to education as a high school administrator. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She found joy in simple pleasures, from the intricate art of knitting and beading to the creativity of crafting. Susan loved the excitement of cruise ship shows and the occasional thrill of the casino.

Above all, Susan cherished her family. Her 14-year battle with cancer showcased her remarkable strength and unwavering spirit. She embraced life's blessings with gratitude, finding comfort in the prayers and support of loved ones.

Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff, and her cherished granddaughter Olivia (Livvy).

She leaves behind her loving husband, Dave; her children, Brian (Becky), Eric (Nicole), and Amy (Adam); and grandchildren, Zachary, Ethan, and Ava, along with her brother Dr. Chuck Pippitt (Ann).

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home.

A memorial service to celebrate Susan's life will be held on Saturday, April 12th at 1:00 PM at Countryside Christian Church, located at 1850 McMullen Booth Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Susan's memory to Moffitt Cancer Center.
