Thelma Jean White

Thelma Jean Taylor was born in Elba Alabama on November 17th, 1928 and moved to the Orlando area in the 40s with her family. There, she met her late husband Gordon White with whom she enjoyed 62 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2014. They resided for 62 years in Clearwater.

Thelma lost her daughter Terry in 2017, and is survived by her son Craig his wife Kathy and her brother Gary Taylor and wife Ana.

Jean was a housewife and an incredible mother to her two children.

Thelma and Gordon belonged to the Clearwater Yacht Club in years past and traveled extensively around the country in their Motorhome. They also loved to go to Bucs football games with their friends in their party limo. Both were members of the VFW post #2473 in Clearwater.

Thelma volunteered extensively with goodwill and other charities in the Clearwater area and had an active social life.

Jean was filled with kindness, faith, and an unwavering love for her family and touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
