Theresa Jean Anderson

Born on January 19, 1930, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Theresa was the youngest of 16 children born to Amadee and Juliette Fougere. In the 1950s, she made the brave decision to move from Canada to New Jersey, where she would begin the next chapter of her life.

On October 11, 1958, Theresa married the love of her life, William Anderson, with whom she raised four sons: Bill, David, Tim, and John. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

In the mid-1980s, Theresa and William moved to the Clearwater, Florida area, where they continued to enjoy their retirement years surrounded by new friends.

Theresa was an active and vibrant woman throughout her life. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing tennis and loved exploring flea markets, always on the lookout for unique treasures.

Her warm spirit, kindness, and love for her family will be missed by all who knew her.

Theresa is survived by her four sons: Bill (Linda), David, Tim (Jackie), and John, as well as her grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Nicholas, Alyssa, and Kyle. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William, daughter-in-law Sue, and her 15 siblings.

A Funeral service will take place at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home on Sunday February 16, 2025 at 11:00am with a graveside service to follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
