Theresa "Tress" Anne Nastari LaTorre

LaTORRE, Theresa”Tress”, Beloved mother and grandmother, 88, of Clearwater, FL., passed away Friday, November 19, 2010. She moved to Florida with her late husband, Cosimo in 1983 from her native Pittsburgh, PA where she was a fashion consultant. She was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Clearwater, FL. Theresa was a former volunteer at Hospice Thrift Store on Belcher Road and a former employee at Rite-Aid Pharmacy and Publix Supermarket on Highland Ave.

She is survived by daughters, Elizabeth Travis (Jerry Hyde) of Houston, TX, and Carolyn Riggs (Thomas) of Clearwater, FL; a sister, Filomina Ross of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Jeffrey Riggs and Scott LaTorre Phillips.

Visitation held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the funeral home. Funeral Mass celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at St. Cecelia Church. Committal prayers and interment followed the mass at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park in Largo, FL.
