Timothy Eugene Rucker

With profound sadness, we must announce the passing of Timothy Eugene Rucker, who passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, in Danville, Pennsylvania, at the age of 45. He was born on May 22, 1981, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

He dedicated his life to caring for others. He began his nursing career at Morton Plant Hospital, where his compassion, strength, and dedication touched the lives of countless patients and their families. He later continued his calling as a Nurse Anesthetist, a profession in which he took great pride and found deep purpose.

Above all, he was a devoted, faithful, and loving husband and father. He shared 19 years of marriage with his wife, Ashley, building a life filled with love, laughter, and memories. His greatest joy was his children, Benjamin, Jackson, and Keira, and there was nothing he treasured more than time spent together as a family.

He loved the simple moments of family life- watching movies together, playing games, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. He also had a special place in his heart for his two beloved beagle girls, Lucy and Kona, who are truly cherished members of the family and brought him endless companionship and joy.

He was a passionate sports fan and faithfully cheered on his favorite teams: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Hurricanes, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Chicago Cubs. Whether watching a game with family or simply enjoying a quiet evening at home with his loved ones and his dogs by his side, he found happiness in the moments that mattered most.

He will be remembered for his caring heart, his faithfulness, his devotion to his family, his dedication to his profession, and the love he gave so freely. His loss leaves an indescribable emptiness, but the love he shared will live on through his wife, his children, his family, and all those whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Ashley; his children, Benjamin, Jackson, and Keira; his mother, Mary; and his sisters, Christy and Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a beagle rescue near you in his memory. His love for Lucy and Kona was a special part of his life, and helping another beagle in need would be a beautiful way to honor his memory.

He will be deeply loved, profoundly missed, and forever remembered. His family will carry his love with them always.
