Wayne Harper was born on January 24, 1948, in Dover, New Jersey, to Clarence and Bette Harper. He grew up alongside his sisters, Janice and Linda, and in the mid-1960s, the Harper family relocated to Florida, where Wayne would spend the rest of his life.
A Vietnam veteran, Wayne served honorably in the U.S. Army. After his military service, he built a long and steady career in the grocery and wine industries.
Wayne is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Nadine Harper; his daughters, Lisa Harper (Chris Carter) and Stacy Sheedy (Sean); his grandchildren, Bradley, Logan, and Hunter; his sisters, Janice VanVibber and Linda Hoskinson; and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home in Clearwater on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by a lunch reception.
