Born on May 23, 1954, in Cambria, Pennsylvania.
Bill was known for his strong work ethic, his kind heart, and his love for family. A skilled machinist by trade, Bill took great pride in his craftsmanship and dedication to his work.
Outside of the workshop, Bill found joy on the golf course, in his garage working on projects, and in the laughter and company of his beloved family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, loving brother and a loyal friend—steadfast, gentle, and full of quiet wisdom.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Heidi Geisler Fletcher; his cherished children, Sarah Fletcher and Austin Fletcher; and his siblings, Robert Fletcher, Bonnie Fletcher, and Betsy (Buddy) Broad. He is also remembered fondly by many extended family members and dear friends whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jane Fletcher, and nephew Jason Broad.
A private graveside service will be held to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Bill’s name to the Suncoast Hospice Foundation, The American Cancer Society or A Tree to Remember —three organizations close to their hearts.
Bill’s legacy of love, humility, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
