
Wilson L. Walls died March 5, 2015 in Palm Harbor, FL where he had lived the last 23 years. He was born on August 18, 1921 in Breckenridge County, KY to the late William E. and Ruby Horsley Walls. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Helm Walls, Thomas Walls and Joe Lampkin; a sister, Laura Anthony and a niece, Sherry Barger. He was a World War II Veteran, where he served as an x-ray tech and also taught maintenance repair of medical equipment. He spent several years in surgical supply sales with medical arts, White & White Co, from where he retired. He was a member of Flint, Michigan Elks #222 for 65 years, a member of Masonic Lodge #23 in Flint, Michigan and was a Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed horseracing, was an avid golfer, and receiver of Senior Golf Championship in Flint, MI. He was a giving person and loved by family and friends. He is survived by daughter, Regina Zehr, of Chicago, IL; sisters, Josie Smith of Stephensport, KY; and Golda (Ken) Pack, of Flatwoods, KY; five nephews and three nieces; and a special friend, Arlene Bull of Palm Harbor, FL. Arrangements in FL by Sylvan Abbey and by Trent Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, KY. The funeral service will be held in Ammons, KY on Wednesday, March 11 at 11am at English Baptist Church, officiated by nephew, Rev. Emory Riley, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be held at English Baptist Church Cemetery.
