We lack the words to express our saddnes in hearing the news of Yousri's passing. Yousri was a big brother, a great friend and a mentor. You

Dear Samiha and family,
We were shocked to learn of the passing of Yousri and are deeply saddened for you and your family.
Camil has many special memories of his time spent with Yousri on the beach in Alexandria. Yousri will always be remembered for his gentle spirit. When Yousri started his first year of engineering Camil was in his last year. We remembered the time too when you came to Canada for a wedding of one of our relatives and our son, Andrew babysat your youngest daughter, Nadia.

With deep sadness we heard the news of Youssri's sudden passing. I cannot really find the words that would express our feelings without recalling the memories of a vibrant, gentle, decent young spirit that we looked-up to in our youth. He had an incredible gift of communicating joy with affection and care to people around him with a beautiful and peaceful smile. Youssri was our star.
May the Lord rest his soul in peace along with all our dear family members and friends that preceded him, bring comfort to his family and loved ones and shine his star in our memories forever.

Dear Sameha,
Praying God's faithful promises for you and the family, Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." I know that the loss of a loving and wonderful person like Yousri is great. I will always remember him with a smile, I feel honored to have known such a kind-hearted, sweet, and caring gentleman. We have hope that never fails, we are confident that Yousri is present with the Lord and that one day we will be reunited with our loved ones, 2 Corinthians 5:8, "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." Lifting you all up before the throne of grace, that you may find peace and comfort in God and may Yousri's beautiful legacy inspire us all to extend kindness, smiles, love, and care to others. May you all feel loved and cherished even if we are apart. xoxox

I was so sorry to hear about the loss to the Barsoum family and friends. I never met Dr. Barsoum but heard so much about him from his daughter, Nadia, who I have known since she was a law student. She spoke often and fondly of her father and her entire family. I know he will be missed. Professor Morrie Schwartz once said - "Death ends a life, not a relationship" - I am certain that is true for the Barsoum family.

Dear Samiha, May, Mira, Nadia, Mogui, Adib and families
It is with great sadness that we heard about Youssi passed away; my deepest sympathy. I have a lot of good memories with him since I was 5-6 years old (1965-1966) at Roushdi Beach. He loved his perissoire and used to maintain it by painting it himself with a white paint. He used to take me with him on it, in the sea. He was a real gentleman, very nice and wonderful man. May his beautiful Soul Rest In Peace forever. We will miss him a lot.
