Al was given a bid to pledge TKE as he represented the type of man that would make a great brother. He proved to be all a brother could be and more. I count it a privilege that I could have shared the bond of Brotherhood with Al. I look forward to a reunion with Al when the Lord calls me home.

Rest in peace, Brother.  On hearing of Al’s. passing I prayed: “Dear Lord, please accept your son, Al Galinot, into your arms where he may live forever without pain or suffering.  He leaves a legacy of faith, kindness, and service to others.  I also ask that you help his family and friends to find comfort through their own faith and that their great memories of him will soon ease the pain of their loss.  Amen”

Al was a TEKE when I became a Freshman and lived on the TKE wing at Husson College. I was always impressed with his warmth and intelligence. Al attracted me to pledge Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity with that kind of charactor.  His kindness, committment too, and direction for the TKE Brotherhood and his quiet man approach in leadership qualities on TKE matters 50 something years later, continue in our hearts today and will tomorrow.....forever. Al Galinot will truly be missed. 
I will also miss that smile.

My condolences to all of Al’s family. He was s great friend and  loyal TKE. I too, met Al in my freshman year. Mike Simon and I got assigned a room on TKE floor, even though we weren’t a TKE. To correct that Mike & I agreed to pledge , thanks to Al and many others   Thank you Al for getting us involved

Al graduated from Husson College 54 years ago and when we were organizing the TKE Reunion for 2022 Al was one of the first to commit.  His support and encouragement 8 years ago was helpful and greatly appreciated.  Al truly demonstrated that the fraternal bond we share is real and meaningful for both of us.  I am proud to be Al’s fraternity brother and value his friendship.  Rest comfortably brother.

I have so many fond memories of our fraternity days back in the 70s. Al was a wonderful brother, and I will always remember meeting him when I transferred to Husson.  I had pledged TKE at Monmouth College in NJ and Al welcomed me with opened  arms. I truly enjoyed his friendship and good times together. 
While our lives took us in different directions over the years, I have always cherished the brotherhood we shared. He was a great man and will never be forgotten by those of us who knew him back then.   I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to reconnect with Al at our TKE reunion in Bangor back in the fall of ‘22

Cathy: your comment that he cared about you more than anything else is so true. He loved and worshipped you.
 He was also very passionate about work, often caring about a customer’s project more than the customer. He was committed to success either with a customer or with his employees. He expected results but gave his team the freedom to operate independently without looking over their shoulder. He was incredibly loyal to his employees. Multiple times an employee had a family emergency, he would just tell that person to take as much time as needed, of course paid and didn’t count time off as vacation time. But he expected loyalty in return. He took it personally if an employee left, which wasn’t often. 
Al was a fine gentleman, an extremely dedicated husband , a proud father and a loving grandpa and great grandfather. He will be  forever missed by his family, by his many team members who loved working for him, and by his numerous friends he made during his fishing and hunting trips. With loving thoughts 🙏❤️‍🩹😞
