

Betty was born in Charleston, West Virginia on June 23, 1934 to the late Hersell and Blanche Jones. Betty enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and tending to her flowers. She was a talented quilt maker. Her family will cherish the quilts she has left behind. Quilts she sewed with love in each stitch.
She was a devoted mother and gentle grandmother. Betty grew sweeter with age. Her family will miss her kind heart and loving adoration.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Hampton Turner and son, Allen Royce Turner. Surviving are two sons, Stan (Wendy) Turner of Advance and Perry Turner of Davidson County; five grandchildren, Derek (Sherrie) Turner of Advance, Bryn (Nick) Taylor of Advance, Shayna (Josh) Morgan of Advance, Wesly (Yulanda) Turner, and Allison Turner; and several great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Brookstone of Clemmons for the care given to Betty. Their kindness and compassion for her the last three years have been a comfort.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 1st at 10:00 am at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
