She was born on July 13, 1941 in Winston-Salem to the late Henry Chambers, Sr. and Laura Loyd Chambers. Bonnie retired from Wake Forest University as an administrative assistant.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles David Jones, Sr.; her children, David (Jaklin) Jones, Christina Jones, and Steven Jones; grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Adrian Jones, and Zoe Huang-Jones; siblings, Henry (Dean) Chambers, Jr., Ramona Inglett, and Debbie (Jerry) Mason; many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
The graveside service is at 10am on Wednesday at Forsyth Memorial Park, 2951 Reynolda Rd. Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
