Bryan Manning Bishop

Bryan Manning Bishop passed away unexpectedly Sunday, September 27, 2026, in Advance, North Carolina, at the age of 57. He was born on October 30, 1968, in Greensboro, North Carolina, to Larry Manning and Mary Kathryn Bishop.

Bryan was a true Son of God who lived a virtuous life. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother and friend. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family—especially fishing, sharing music and laughter with his children, and making memories together. His kindness extended even to strangers, to whom he freely offered care and compassion. Bryan will be remembered for the love he gave, the generosity he showed, and the warmth he brought to the lives of those around him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Kathryn. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of twenty years, Jennifer, and his five amazing children, whom he counted among God’s greatest blessings: Alexander Ryan, Carson Manning, Kenzie Nelle (Tristan Comer), Davis James, and Emma Kathryn; his father, Larry (Anne); his brother, Chris (Melissa), four nieces, one great nephew and one great niece.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 17, 2026 at 2pm at Agape Faith Church, 2101 Lewisville-Clemmons Rd. Clemmons, NC 27012

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to honor Bryan’s memory consider making a donation toward his youngest daughter Emma Kathryn’s college education. This would be a meaningful way to continue his love and commitment to his family and help provide for her future.
