Bryant "Willie" William Galbaugh

Bryant "Willie" William Galbaugh of Clemmons, NC, and formerly of Sharonville, OH, entered into rest April 8, 2023. Born November 1, 1960, he was the beloved husband of Corey Galbaugh (nee Westpfahl), adored father of Jillian Galbaugh, cherished brother of Jeffrey Galbaugh, treasured nephew of Diana Blitz, dearest son of the late Janet and Charles Galbaugh, and dear brother in law of Tracey (David) Wozniak, Raelynn (Gary) Cardinale, Paula (James) Schmigel, Kellie (Dominic) Mariani, Dana (Jason) Kirker and the late Karla Szafranek (Rick DeMartino). He is also survived by many special friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bryant was a loving, kind and brilliant person. He loved the Cincinnati Reds, reading and spending time with his wife Corey, daughter Jillian, dog Katie and cat Starbucks. His special bond with Jillian included sharing their love of Pokemon Go and museum visits. Bryant was a graduate of Princeton (Sharonville) High School, Miami (Ohio) University and the Wake Forest School of Law. He was a long-time employee of the Winston-Salem Journal as a sports copy editor and assistant sports editor.

Relatives and friends may visit the Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home, 2849 Middlebrook Drive, Clemmons on Friday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Clemmons United Methodist Church, 3700 Clemmons Road, Clemmons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Adoption and Rescue Foundation (AARF)
