Carolann Marie Zukowsky, 83, of Clemmons, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at her residence. Born on September 17, 1942 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Marion Rapcienski. Carolann retired from Gitano Fashion Group, where she was an import manager. She also enjoyed traveling, reading, and puzzles. Carolann was the loving wife of the late Walter M. Zukowsky.
She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Jimenez and Jillann Bligh; four grandchildren, Christopher Bligh, Joseph M Jimenez and wife Michelle (Bishop) Jimenez, Gabrielle E. Jimenez, and Jacqueline D. Jimenez; three great grandchildren, Daniel Sosa Jr., Oliver Jimenez, and Malcolm Jimenez; two brothers, Paul and Stephen Rapcienski; and a sister Sharon Metro.
The Family would to thank the staff and physicians of Trellis Supportive Care for their care and support.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Frank Vogler and Sons in Clemmons. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
