Charles Lee Wright

Charles Lee Wright of Winston Salem passed away on May 28, 2019 at the age of 85 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on September 29, 1933 in Stokes County to the late Barnie and Myrtle Wright. Charles retired from RJ Reynolds as a machine operator in 1987 after 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Wright and Lester Wright, and a sister-in-law, Barbara Wright. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Thelma Edwards Wright; daughters, Brenda (Harvey) Roberts, Linda (Donald Wayne) Fletcher, Carolyn (Ron) Schwartz, Sandra (Dave) Kinlaw; grandchildren, Amanda Roberts, Brittany (Ben) Kern, Lucas Fletcher, Jason Schwartz, Carson Schwartz, and Emma Kinlaw; sister, Hazel Smith; sister-in-law, Betty Wright; and several nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

A funeral service will be held Friday, May 31st at 11am at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 10am. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
