He was born on December 8, 1958 to Lexie Pollard Billings and the late Howard R. Billings. Dennis is survived by his mother; his sisters, Nancy Matthews and Wanda (Charles) Essick; his brother, Roger Billings; his nephew, Donald (Jennifer) White; his niece, Shannon Matthews; his great nieces, Madisyn White and Alayna Bustle; and his best friend, Barbara Merritt.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 30th at 3pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd, with Pastor Danny Poindexter officiating.
